As an art form, embroidery and textiles can be very broad based and offers many creative possibilities.
Use basic design principles to enhance and develop your own personal style.
Utilise mixed media techniques for truly innovative textiles.
Experiment with colour and the layering and texturing of fabrics.
Produce three dimensional structures incorporating new materials, heat moulding, wing fabric and "stitch" and creative machine embroidery.
